The
Wash
All the news that’s fit to print
From thedesk of the Director
- August 5, 2009 -
Attached to this edition of the
Wash, please find an important Public Notification regarding the contamination of our well water, which I am required to distribute to all of our residents. This notice explains the type of bacteria found in our water system and any health concerns that may be associated with it. It also serves to inform you of what steps are being taken and for how long a period of time we can expect to be affected by this problem. Unfortunately, the last chlorination treatment was not sufficient in treating the bacteria so we do not have are solution date. As of today, Wednesday,August 5th, our well operators have made arrangements to monitor and treat the well every day for the next 5 days. As a result, the water is STILL NOT safe to drink! To be on the safe side - DO NOT DRINK or USE THE WATER FOR COOKING UNTIL I CONTACT YOU! Also, notices will be posted on the office door with updates, as they are received. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time. Please understand thatwe are doing our best to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
Our monthly boardmeeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th,at 7 pm.
